We are currently looking for professional teachers and experienced tutors to join our team of dynamic English tutors in the Markham area. If you have a passion for the written word and are dedicated to helping students achieve academic success, we would love to hear from you!

JOB DETAILS

• tutors teach part-time (based on tutor’s availabilities and location)
• tutors assist students ranging from grades 1 to 12
• tutors teach during peak hours (3:00 pm to 9:00 pm on weekdays and 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on weekends)
• tutors travel to students’ homes on a set weekly schedule

JOB REQUIREMENTS

All tutors must:

• have excellent verbal and written skills in English
• have great interpersonal skills and the charisma to motivate students to excel in their studies
• be a university student in progress, university graduate, or an OCT (Ontario Certified Teacher)
• have at least 1 year of tutoring or teaching experience
• be familiar with the Ontario English Curriculum
• be reliable and punctual
• complete a criminal check prior to commencing the first lesson
• have access to a vehicle or public transportation
